Chia is the Mayan word for strength. Seeds sustain energy, prevent blood sugar spikes and are a rich source of protein, iron, antioxidants and EFAs.
Ingredients:
40g Puffed rice
60g Chia seed
60g dried fruit and seed mix
40g Almond butter
30g Honey
20g coconut oil
Method:
- Heat the almond butter, honey and cocunt oil until the ingredients are combined.
- Remove from the heat and stir in the puffed rice, chia seed, dried fruit and seed mix.
- Press the mixture into a greased 20cm square cake tin.
- Refrigerate until set and cut into squares.
