Puffed Rice Bars

Chia is the Mayan word for strength. Seeds sustain energy, prevent blood sugar spikes and are a rich source of protein, iron, antioxidants and EFAs.

Ingredients:
40g Puffed rice
60g Chia seed
60g dried fruit and seed mix
40g Almond butter
30g Honey
20g coconut oil

Method:

  1. Heat the almond butter, honey and cocunt oil until the ingredients are combined.
  2. Remove from the heat and stir in the puffed rice, chia seed, dried fruit and seed mix.
  3. Press the mixture into a greased 20cm square cake tin.
  4. Refrigerate until set and cut into squares.
  5. Enjoy
