‘Get Well’ Tomato Soup

This soup is high in anti-oxidants because of all the added herbs, and is ready in just 5 minutes. It is extremely nutritious considering how few ingredients are required and how very little time it takes to prepare. Just what you need coming up to Winter!

We stock Suma tin tomatoes – try to stay organic with your choice of ingredient as these will pack in the most nutrients.

Ingredients:
One tin of tomatoes, sieved
2 red onions, chopped
5 cloves of garlic, crushed
1 tsp each of oregano, basil, corriander leaf, marjoram and parsley

Method:

  1. Heat the onions and simmer in water for 2 minutes.
  2. Add the rest of the ingredients and simmer for 5 minutes.
  3. Serve with your favourite crusty bread.
